III. THE AREA
A lot of you have decided to extend their stay in Provence, great choice!!!! Here are a few things you could do:
- Spend a day in Avignon, Arles, Nimes and in La Camargue
- Walk or cycle along the multiple paths around Maussanes, they are really well signposted
- Visit the morning markets of Saint-Remy de Provence, Arles, Mouries, Eyguieres...
(check with the tourism office for the exact day as they often take place only once a week)
- For those who want to stay closer to the sea, we strongly recommend Cassis, porquerolles or "les Calanques", a beautifull stretch of sea creeks close to Marseilles...
